2020 Workshop Info

Day 1 begins with early morning shooting session and discussion.  We will assess our guests individual skill levels, goals as well as specific questions.  After a couple hours we will break to eat.  At this time we will discuss the plan to achieve the goals of each individual.  By this time it will be approaching mid-day so we will set a time to reconvene then rest and relax for a bit.   Next is a time of instruction and discussion.  When the days are longer we will eat before the evening shooting session, when the days are shorter we eat after the evening shooting session.  Following the final shooting session of the day and diner is the time to download, review and select the best images of the day.  In the evening we relax while we view and discuss the best images from the day.

Day 2 begins early so we can be at our destination before or at sunrise.  When the destination is a remote location we will take lunch.  After a couple hours we will break to eat. Then we will change locations and shoot some more.  By this time it will be approaching mid-day so we will rest and relax.  Based on the weather, the lighting conditions and what nature is offering us we will move to a third location for the last couple of hours of daylight.  When the days are longer we will eat before the evening shooting session, when the days are shorter we eat after the evening shooting session.  Following the final shooting session of the day and diner is the time to download, review and select the best images of the day.  In the evening we relax while we view and discuss the best images from the day.

Days 3, 4 and 5 follow the same pattern as day 2.  Three different shooting locations with food, fun, discussion and instruction sprinkled in.  When you book your dates we will discuss your: photographic skill level, your fitness level, what you hope to achieve, the various locations and what they offer and tailor a photo workshop adventure to suit your desires.

Notes:

There is excellent trout fishing in most areas we will be in.  If you would like to fish while on your adventure that can be arranged.

Some locations are close to camp sites.  Camping can save on driving times.
